That’s why we prepare our food from scratch – even our sauces and dressings. We are known for our Wood-Fire Cooking – it’s what gives our foods their rich, distinctive grilled flavor. This includes wood fire prepared steaks, pizzas and rotisserie chicken in addition to a grand variety of homemade soups, salads, seafood (and walleye, of course), ribs, pastas and fajitas. Kids may build their pizzas and sundaes. Bar service is traditional and creative, featuring happy hour and special feature promotions daily. Individual sites have entertainment - typically on the weekends. Axel's Bonfire strives to create a warm, caring and respectful atmosphere for all of our guests - this is the “Axel's way.”
