It is said, "necessity is the mother of all invention", and so it was with Barb Hunn. Over 35 years ago, faced with a family of four children, Barb went into the restaurant business. In 1973, the first Keys Café opened for business in St. Paul on Raymond Avenue. Barb founded this first adventure, refining and improving her successful formula until the second Keys opened in New Brighton in 1983.
